Selena Gomez, an actress and singer who is well-known internationally. Her involvement has included many projects, but the Disney television series Wizards of Waverly Place has enjoyed the highest success. Her real name is Selena Marie Gomez. Selena Marie Gomez was born in Grand Prairie, Texas on the 22nd day of July 1992. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Her mother was barely 16 when Selena arrived. Her first stage career at the age of nine when she appeared as Gianna as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. The result was that she became one those children that played the most well-known anthropomorphic purple dinosaur in all of history. Selena played a role in numerous episodes from the seasons 7 and 8. She worked between 2001-2003. Fun trivia: Demi Lovato, who was part of Barney's Friends at the time as well, worked alongside Selena. When the show ended Selena Gomez auditioned for several characters in various other series and movies, but she was not much success. She got a small role in the 2003 movie Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D Game Over) as well as another role similar to Julie from Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. Additionally, in 2006, she was Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. To play the character, she wrote a song.
